Dear Daily Mirror,
The United
States have finally worked themselves through Guadalcanal. It was a long and
muddy couple of months, but the U.S. armies made it through. There were a bunch
of banzai charges and ambushes were coming from every corner as I was told.
General Douglas MacArthur definitely is deserving of the retribution he is
getting for the death marches in Bataan in the Pacific. All we can really say
now is that Guadalcanal is a very quiet and lonesome place at the moment, but
there is plenty of space for new life.
