response to Editorial #8

The Americans think that they are just going to enter this war without any trouble.  Sure they made a difference in WW1, but it won’t be as easy this time.  I want them to win, but they aren’t going to with this Island Hopping.  What they need to do is attack the main island of Japan.  Then go to all of the other islands.  Japan is smarter than they think.  They are probably one of the smartest countries.  And they would rather die than surrender because they don’t want to dishonor their country.  This is going to be a hard fought war, no matter what.

If America is really going through with this plan they are going to have to be on their toes the whole time.  They will have to know how to take down those kamikazes and any other surprises that come their way.  I wish the best of luck to you America.
