I cannot believe that this just happened. Everyone is shook up. We were just sitting inside, most of us hadn't even woken up form our Saturday night dances and all of the sudden there were bombs going off all around us. Our first thought was to get to the hospital. None of us had ever experienced anything like this. What a tragidy. I remember seeing our planes go up and only counting half come back. I lost someone too. I think we all did.

We really should have seen it coming. We were foolish to not. This day I will never forget. The what seemed like thousands that were drug into the hospital black from burns and oil. I will never forget that first patient that came in blacked out and never woke up. I will never forget the many faces that would look me in the eye and said one thing, help and all I could do was try, but it seemed that trying was not enough. Nothing was.
